Rafael Gonzalez serves as Vice President of Fleet, bringing more than 28 years of experience in fleet and equipment management, service operations, technical support, maintenance, and asset management. Throughout his career, Rafael has led complex fleet operations and teams across the construction equipment, transportation, automotive, and service industries.

Rafael began his career in the construction equipment industry while completing his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Through an internship with Volvo Construction Equipment, he gained hands-on industry experience and was offered a full-time position upon completion of the program. During his time with Volvo CE, Rafael held roles in equipment sales, aftermarket technical support, and service management, ultimately serving as Regional Service Manager. His responsibilities included supporting equipment operations, providing technical expertise, managing service activities, and working directly with customers and equipment fleets.

His career later expanded into leadership roles with PepsiCo, NAPA Auto Parts, TravelCenters of America, and Dragonfly Health, where he most recently served as National Fleet Director. These positions further developed his expertise in fleet strategy, maintenance operations, asset performance, team leadership, and the management of large-scale fleet programs.

Rafael holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and holds several industry certifications, including Volvo CE Master Driver for Wheel Loaders, Excavators, Articulated Haulers, Backhoe Loaders, and Motor Graders; FESTO Hydraulic H511; ASE P2; TIA Commercial Tire Service; and CPR/AED certification.

As Vice President of Fleet, Rafael applies his extensive technical and operational experience to support safe, reliable, and efficient fleet operations while maximizing equipment performance and long-term asset value.
