Rick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Park University in Kansas City, Missouri, and has built an extensive career over several decades, specializing in informatics, programming, and data analysis. His diverse career path includes roles such as Informatics Project Manager at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Application Developer, Lead Purchaser, and even a Foreman for a bricklayer crew, providing him with a broad understanding of both technical and operational aspects of business.

With his vast experience in informatics and programming, Rick has contributed significantly to Sunland’s technological advancements, particularly in business intelligence. Over the course of his more than ten years with Sunland, he has been instrumental in developing systems that transform raw data into actionable insights, helping the company streamline processes, improve decision-making, and enhance project performance. Rick is also an active member of the Professional Association for SQL Server (PASS), which keeps him connected to the latest developments in business intelligence and data management.
