Sunland Asphalt was proud to participate in the 5th Annual Red Rose Bowling Tournament, hosted by the Greater Phoenix Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).

Jeff Coffman, Sandra Madrid, Amanda Neuheisel, Kimberly Harman, Renee McWenie, Kristan Partel, Kim Singleton, Asia Flood, Kerry McWenie and Joe Zaleski represented Sunland’s Accounting, Fleet, Human Resources, Marketing, Phoenix Maintenance, Public Works and Safety Departments. This was the first year Sunland participated, with two teams, “Got Pins” and “The Wrecking Balls.”

NAWIC is an association that promotes careers in construction, construction education and awareness through its various programs and seminars. All proceeds from this year’s tournament benefit the Lodine Robinson Endowment, a grant and scholarship program for women enrolled in construction related programs at Arizona universities and community colleges.
