Chief Information Officer

Steve Sharkey is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Sunland and leads the People, Processes and Technologies within the Companies IT organization to ensure they deliver outcomes that support the goals & growth of the business.  Steve has over 30 years of experience in technology across a wide spectrum of industries, including Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail, and has spent the last 20 years in the construction industry.  Steve is a veteran IT executive that has overseen expansions of several companies into new geographic markets and has ushered corporations into the digital age by accelerating processes, devising custom, holistic solutions that address multiple business areas and resolve persistent challenges.  Steve holds degrees in Accounting, Computer Science & Robotics and is part of several CIO leadership organizations/Boards, and sits on the Advisory Board of ArizonaCIO; one of 26 chapters within the InspireCIO Leadership Network, a national membership organization comprised exclusively of CIO’s.
