The Tractor Supply project in Sedalia, Missouri involved a comprehensive asphalt maintenance and improvement scope. The work included a 2-inch mill and overlay of approximately 68,400 square feet of existing pavement. Prior to the overlay, approximately 4,000 square feet of base failures were identified and remediated, ensuring a stable foundation for the new surface and enhancing the overall longevity of the pavement.
Following the milling and overlay operations, the lot was restriped to match the existing layout, maintaining consistency with the original traffic and parking patterns. The remediation of the subgrade base failures prior to the overlay was a critical and unique feature of this project, highlighting a proactive approach to long-term pavement performance.
