The Walmart Super Center in Alexandria, Louisiana underwent a comprehensive site improvement project that included a 2-inch mill and overlay with fiber for enhanced surface durability. The scope involved the removal and replacement of 62,800 square feet of 4-inch hot mix asphalt (HMA), 23,900 square feet of 6-inch HMA, 39,100 square feet of 8-inch Portland cement concrete (PCC), and 28,300 square feet of 5-inch PCC. Additional improvements included updated pavement striping, installation of new signage, bollard covers, light pole covers, and the placement of 22,500 square feet of landscape rock to improve aesthetics and reduce maintenance. These upgrades collectively improved the site’s safety, functionality, and visual appeal.
