Jessica Perkins is the Controller for Sunland Asphalt & Construction, LLC, where she oversees the financial management and accounting functions to ensure the company’s operations are efficient, transparent, and compliant with industry standards. With over 14 years of experience in the construction industry, including seven years with Sunland, Jessica brings a wealth of expertise in financial oversight and strategic financial planning. Throughout her career, she has held a variety of positions, including Staff Auditor in Public Accounting, Controller for an Affordable Housing Developer, and Manager. These roles have given her a comprehensive understanding of financial systems, budgeting, and regulatory compliance, which she leverages to help Sunland maintain financial health and continue its growth in the competitive construction industry.

Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and a Master’s of Science in Accounting Information Systems from Arizona State University, which has provided her with a strong academic foundation in both accounting principles and technology. She is also an active member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and is currently studying to pass the Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) exam, further solidifying her commitment to excellence in construction finance.
