Marty Saavedra serves as the Division Manager for Sunland Asphalt & Construction LLC’s New Mexico Division, where he oversees operations, project management, and team performance across the region. With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Marty has developed a diverse skill set, having held various roles throughout his career, including sign shop foreman, inside sales coordinator, traffic control, operations manager, field coordinator, estimator, and production manager. His broad experience has provided him with a deep understanding of both the technical and managerial aspects of construction, particularly in traffic control and safety, areas where he has become highly specialized.

In addition to his extensive industry experience, Marty has been actively involved in professional organizations, including serving as secretary/treasurer for the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA). He is a certified traffic control supervisor, has received reasonable suspicion training, and completed a course on OSHA Fatal Four Hazards, further strengthening his expertise in safety and regulatory compliance. As Division Manager, Marty is committed to ensuring that his project teams consistently deliver high-quality projects, on time and within budget. His leadership and dedication to excellence will continue to be pivotal in Sunland’s success in New Mexico.
