Steve Sharkey is the Chief Information Officer for Sunland Asphalt & Construction, LLC, and leads the People, Processes, and Technologies within the company’s IT organization to ensure they deliver outcomes that support the business’s goals and growth. Steve has over 30 years of experience in technology across a wide spectrum of industries, including Manufacturing, Distribution, and Retail, and has spent the last 20 years in the construction industry.

Steve is a veteran IT executive who has overseen the expansion of several companies into new geographic markets and ushered corporations into the digital age by accelerating processes and devising custom, holistic solutions that address multiple business areas and resolve persistent challenges. He holds degrees in Accounting, Computer Science, and Robotics and is part of several CIO leadership organizations and boards. Additionally, he sits on the Advisory Board of ArizonaCIO, one of 26 chapters within the Inspire CIO Leadership Network, a national membership organization comprised exclusively of CIOs.
