What is your title and division?

Business Development

Explain your background and experience in the construction industry. (Ex. What company did you come from? What positions have you previously held? Etc.)

I worked in staffing and recruiting for the construction industry for four years after graduating from the University of Arizona. I have been with Sunland for almost 7 years and have working in a PC/BD role for multiple industries. Currently Public Sector exclusively.

Describe your position with Sunland.  What does a typical day look like for you? 

There is no such thing as a typical day! Some days are strictly following up with customers on the status of a bid, others are delivering corn on the cob and attending networking events.

The ideal day for me would start by visiting prospective job sites in the morning and getting them to estimating by the afternoon…the thought of this brings me peace!

What is your favorite time of the year?

Summer, we utilize the pool every single day and hang out during the longer days!

What is your favorite activity to do when you’re not at work? 

Hanging out with my wife and kids in the pool and grilling, every day!
